Attached please find a photo from the J. H. Dampf Studio in Corning,
NY. I think the photo is probably of members of the Shaff family.
My Great Great Grandmother Tamar Elizabeth (Shaff) Moore came from Corning,
NY before moving to Tioga County. Her father, William Shaff, also
moved to the TriCounties area. I’m not sure of the time period.
It’s probably late 1800’s. I thought you could use the photo in your
Photographers section under Other Counties. I didn’t scan the back
of the photo. There were no markings on the back.
