Joyce - The photo is in terrible condition but I love it. It is supposed
to be the NY 38th Volunteers enrolled at Horseheads and mustered in at
East New York on June 8, 1861. They became Co. I of 38th NY Volunters.
My great great grandfather, sort of identified, is George Willis "Will"
Mallory of Sullivanville, Veteran Twp., Chemung Co., NY. The photo was
found in a metal box of Maggie May READY Bronson, granddaughter of Will,
after her death.
