THIS CERTIFIES that on the Seventh day of September in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one, Henry T. BROWN and Betsey
DONEY was by me united in MARRIAGE, in Erin, Chemung County according to
the Laws of the State of New York. Zephaniah RICHMOND, Justice of
the Peace of Chemung County.
(Note: written on the bottom of the copy, “Tully’s mother’s Dad and
mother’s wedding certificate”) Copy given to us by John E. Brown
of California in 1992.
Marshall D. SWAZAY of Van Etten, NY and Cornelia SWAZAY of Van Etten,
NY were United in Marriage according to the Laws and Ordinance of God and
the State of New York at Newfield on the Second day of June in the year
of Our Lord, one thousand eight hundred Ninty Nine (note spelling of ninety

Saturday, Jan. 19, 1867
MARRIED: At the house of the bride’s father, Mr. John Titus of Big
Flats, Sabbath evening, Jan. 14th, 1867, by Rev. G.J.DuBois, Mr. Gustaves
Bradley of Elmira, to Miss Charity Titus of Big Flats. A large company
of invited guests heightened the festivities of the occasion.
