Trembly House built 1828 opened 1829. It later became Platt house. It stood in Horseheads where the HSBC Bank (formerly Marine Midland) now stands.

They were located   on spot where the Marine Midland (HSBC) bank later stood but now the bank has relocated to S. Main St. This has been a number of years so you may want to correct it to be current. The old bank bldg still stands & is used for offices. JNO

Thank you for doing the website with the Platt House photo.  My mother, Laura Catherine Platt Arnold was born in the hotel on July 15, 1910, to Rufus Allan Platt and Mollie Starks Platt.  I have a few items of memorabilia from the hotel but doubt there is anything your historical society would need.  Your photo is the best photo I have seen yet.
