 Pending identification I suspect this is related to the following :the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen, as well as other related organizations. They merged in 1969 to become the United Transportation Union. The Auxiliary to the BRT was formed in 1889.

        my name Ron Bennett. I'm from Buchanan MI. that's in the southwest corner of the state. I would like to thank you for all your hard work. I'm on the steering committee for friends of Oak Ridge cemetery. we clean & repair stones [with pro help]. we have a large number of vets flag holders. this has sparked my interest in flag holder to the point that I can no longer pass a cemetery without stopping . I feel that I may need medical help for this problem. your site has help me in the indentification of some of them. I have looked long and hard to find info. when I found your site it was like warm sun on a spring day. I have not found another site that has flag holders but if you know of one please send info to get there.thank again . I'm sending along one of my finds
