Hi,

My name is Mark Robinson and I am a student at Haverford College in Haverford, PA.

For my history class, I need to find out as much as I can about a certain flag holder.  I have attached a picture of this flag holder.

Could you please tell me:

When were these type of flag holders used?

What company/companies made them? How much did they cost?

Where were these type of flag holders used (what geographic regions, what kind of neighborhoods, and where on the actual house/yard/porch would it
be used?)

Thanks a lot for helping me.
Mark Robinson

Hi Mark, I have never seen one like this. My take on it is this: There are no organizational emblems on it and it appears to be designed to hold several flags. I think it is just a generic utilitarian construction for multiple flag displays. I see nothing to tie it to any organization at all. I'll put this on my site to see if anyone knows, but I think it is just a functional design. Joyce M. Tice
