Note from Joyce - The gentleman who sent the note below did indeed send photos in the mail. However they were so very tiny and did not show the insignia clearly enough to be used. If any of you can find an MOH marker, please send in CLOSEUP shots at HIGH resolution. Thanks, Joyce M. Tice

Hello Joyce; My name is George Parsons ,author of :Put The Vermonters Ahead" I see that you have put many interesting pictures of grave markings, in Vermont and other areas. A great job! In researching my book, I visited many, many cemeteries, looking for the soldiers that I was writing about, especially for the ones that had been awarded the Medal Of Honor, I found not one had been marked. In the course of the last few years we have been able to get most of them marked with a MOH plaque. I noticed that you did not have a grave that was marked by a MOH plaque. I have many pictures of graves that have been marked ,in Vermont. Would you care to have them ?
          Yours Truly      George Parsons.
