My Sunday school teacher sent this card to me in 1948 to remind me to attend Sunday School so that I could be promoted to the primary class. My younger brother, Don, and I walked there, alone each Sunday from our home on Canton Street. Sometimes we had to wait on the steps for someone to open the heavy doors in this Romanesque building for us. Jean COLE Taylor |
