you may not be the correct person to contact, but you know who the correct person is. some comments on the information supplied with "the knoll" page:

1- thomas baldwin's death - the lathrop baldwin (thomas' nephew) bible lists his death as 14 jan 1810 as do a few other references. since his will is dated 11 jan 1810, the 14th seems more probable than the 10th. the will was written at his farm in athens, luzerne county, pa (now ridgebury, bradford county) so  he probably died there, not in chemung as many references state. somewhere he makes the statement that he preferred the pennsylvania location to his farm in chemung (lowman). real estate transfer information after his death indicate that his farm was about a mile south of wellsburg on the berwick turnpike. his son george had a farm for many years about a mile south of wellsburg also, but it may not have been the same farm.

2- waterman baldwin was a member of spalding's company, CT militia (not PA), as was his brother thomas, for portions of the war. stories about waterman indicate that he had much trouble with the pennsylvanians, as did most connecticut settlers. this was, of courses, a major cause of their migration to chemung (pennamite wars, etc).
i realise that these comments are not particularly significant, but---
