Joyce,
Here are the GPS coordinates for the Jenkins Cemetery located on Oneida Road (CR#60) or old route 17.
N  42 03458
W 076 45315
Elevation - 883.62
Jenkins Cemetery is located in the Town of Elmira on Oneida Road, AKA old route 17 or CR#60.  Heading east from Elmira turn left onto the entrance road to Sullivans Monument then turn left and follow road to a pull off area on left side of Oneida Rd.  A heavy growth of Vinca is visible from the pull off.  No stones remain and only the Vinca marks the area as an old cemetery.  There are a few broken fieldstone stubs which could have been bases for tombstones. Cemetery lies between Oneida Rd. and Rt. 17/86. The  nearest address is 311 Oneida Road which is across the road and to the left of the cemetery.

Joyce,
I just came from the Balwin-Jenkins Cemetery site.. My grandfather lived next door to the cemetery, and he was the son of David Jenkins and Lena Jenkins.. I would like to let you know that there has been an addition to the cemetery.. Eileen Jenkins-VanTuyl  daughter on David Jenkins Jr and M.Elizabeth Jenkins..  (b.) July 13, 1953  (d.)Sept.29,1990

If you could possibly add that to the site it would be appreciated.. She was my aunt,God Mother, and my mother's little sister.. She was the youngest of the grandchildren of David and Lena.

                                             Thank You,
Great Grand daughter of David and Lena Jenkins,
