Once Again, Joyce comes through with the perfect card for the subject

As the two following notes show us, the Internet has changed everything. It may be years late, but the philandering great grandpa is finally tracked down.

Have to tell you how glad I am that I chanced upon your site...I found my Gr Gr grandfather in the cemetery  death records. I have looked for him for many, many years. He ran off and left his wife and children and "went west". He lived in Orange county at the time. He got as far as Elmira evidently.
I am sure it is right, the age is exactly right and so are the parents.
THANK YOU!

Hi again. After I found Samuel Milburn, I went back to copy info to my notes. I went a bit too far and found a Jane Millburn down a few names futher...living at Samuel's address, she died later in the same year. The family scandal is true..he left Rebecca for another and YOUNGER woman! What a great find!

Joyce,
The postcard on todays posting is perfect.  Out here in CA we are just starting our day, and it brought a huge smile to my lips as I checked out WHAT"S NEW while sipping the first cup of coffee.  You must have an amazing stock of postcards.
Good luck with your taxes and thanks again for the wonderful site.
