The following Greeting Cards were sent to Mildred R. Mudge, grandmother of Joyce M. Tice, in the first decade of the twentieth century. I am recycling them now at the very end of the twentieth century and extending the greetings and the history they represent to my many friends and guests at this web site. Mildred was born in 1895, so these were cards sent to her in her childhood by friends, relatives, teachers. Some were sent by ancestors of web site guests, such as Anne PRATT Slatin whose grandmother, Dora, sent the card in the top row right.
All of these cards are Post Cards with the greeting on the front and the address and written message on the back, just as our postcards are today.
